Assistant Professor in Chemistry - JECRC University

Dr Anita Nehra is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Chemistry at JECRC University, Jaipur, India since Sep 2022. She completed her Ph.D. in the area of ion recognition by developing calix[4,6]arene conjugates at Chemistry department, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay with Prof. Chebrolu Pulla Rao in 2016.

Then, she worked as a SERB-National Postdoctoral Fellow studying fluoride remediation in water using polymer nano-composites at the Department of Chemistry Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam before staying in a teaching position for around a year until 2019. Further, she developed fluoride sensor based on calix[4]arene working as a postdoctoral Research Associate at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India during 2021-2022.

Her research interests are, studying selective anion recognition & their transport, photocatalysis and microbial recognition using supramolecular and polymer based systems.
